Anyone ever use them for their hardwood floors? How does it work? Is it really refininishing the floors or just a "cover-up"? The cost seems good...About $300 per room...If I want a new color then about $3 per sqft.

Just curious...

Thanks

If not Mr Sandless, then who have you used and what price? I have an entry way/hall way and then the living room and family room that are looking shabby.

Go to the "House" Forum and Search for "refinish floor". You'll get some good advice on different ways to refinish floors and experiences from other homeowners across the country. I found this one related to your topic except it was a Mr. Sandless in NJ:

BTW, when you do get your floors done, be careful with the drying time so you know when to put your furniture back on the floors. There are stories from homeowners who were not aware of proper drying times and had problems and/or movers come in too early and ruin their floors!

I have been considering this myself but have read such mixed reviews I am not sure if I want to try it... I wish I could see a real before and after in person..

Yeah...I'm a little uncertain. But I work for a real estate agent here in NOVA and she gave me the name and number to a guy that refinishes floors here...I trust her completely so will probably go that route. I think she said it was called ProFloors or something like that.

Who did she recommend? I google profloors and they don't refinish, just sell flooring.
