I bought my place in Miller in 2015 for 85,000...it was recently appeaised at 245,000. Two blocks from beach. Miller like the rest of NWI is on the upswing.

Valparaiso remains quite desirable. While there's nowhere near the amount of new home building as Crown Point, St John, and Winfield, many of the active subdivisions are building up quickly. This is apparent on the north side in Hawthorne North and on the west side in Pepper Cove. The Brooks at Vale Park on the west side (just west of Valparaiso HS) will soon be breaking ground on its first phase of homes and I expect those lots to be bought and built on quite quickly.

Home prices have soared throughout the city.
