So I just got back from Oahu once again. Now I'm back in the Bay Area having the hawaiian blues. I think I'm just gonna move there.

Go for it. Just be prepared. If you've been reading in this forum, you're already alerted to the fact that visiting a place isn't the same as living there. But if you're in love from the visits, I can fully understand it. The same thing happened to us, and we love it here.

So when you were on Oahu, where did you stay and what did you do? The Waikiki Marriot or the Hilton Hawaiian is just a tiny bit different experience than sharing a condo in Moiliili.

i stayed in waikiki at a hotel. my trip was for a wedding but also leisure. spent some time on the northshore and leeward coast. then kicked it in pearl to pick up some clothes at in4mation. then i skated ala park. i have a few connects that i made when i was there. hopefully, i can make the move soon.

thank you for the replies!! so my rough blue print is to save at least 10k before going. Look for a room to rent. Find a decent place. Apply for videographer work and any other places that matches my work experience.
