A WORLD of difference in the wind from Ewa Beach to Mililani. Air Conditioning cost difference. Cha-ching!

BUT let's not forget Waipahu is the place of employment so getting to H1 isn't that important. Still, it's pretty congested when we leave the house at 6am.

Heather, November? Too cool!

I'm not sure if it matters to you but the beach is closer to Ewa Beach than Mililani. It's also dry over here. Last weekend it was pouring in town and all we got in Ewa Beach was the sound of thunder.

Although the beaches on the North Shore are some of the best in the world just down the road from Mililani......

My husband has been looking at houses almost daily. I think we will be in the Ewa Beach area just trying to locate around 2 different schools. Also finding it really hard to find someone that will take our doggies. Are labs not that popular there? My husband has had a couple people comment on us having labs that they like to wander etc which isn't true. Hmmm he says he sees tons of people with dogs but maybe they all own their houses? Someone lets us rent with doggies! I know if I was a property owner renting I would be Leary too but wish they could trust us...
Anyway the search goes on. Can't believe I will be there in 2 weeks to see it all for myself!!

It is often less a matter of trust than supply and demand. It is a tight rental market right now it and it is a landlord market. They simply don't need to rent out the home to someone with dogs/cats/pets in general as they can get it rented quickly to people without pets.

Also, a lot of places are condos/townhouses in Oahu, and many associations don't allow pets at certain size.

That makes sense. We haven't rented in about 14 years so it's I'm always reminding myself this is someone else home I'm looking at. But we see so many that say pet friendly and what they really mean is pets under 25 lbs.
I truly have thought about finding homes for our dogs but they are our family and my kids would be so sad. Would make this move so much harder for them. Just hoping our 10 yr old lab makes the big journey...
Husband is looking at two stand alone houses tomorrow so cross your fingers!
