Hi !
My name is Helene Rigout, I'm 18 years old and i'm currently studying my first year of international trade at ESTICE Business School in Lille, France.
In order to complete my first year of university i'm planning to work as a volunteer in exchange of housing during my stay, for 2 or 3 months in Hawaii next summer from mid-may to mid-august.
My biggest dream is to discover Honolulu! I wish I could find a cool internship there, and a place to stay for free because since I would like to work as a volunteer, if i have to pay for the hotel, I can not do it financialy, I'm a student I don't have much money ..!
If anybody Knows a place which is looking for interns for the summer, or a family who would like a au pair, please let me now it would be so helpful for me!
If you are interested in working with kids as an au pair, you might also be interested in working as a counselor at a summer camp. You can check out Camp Erdman. It is run by the YMCA. You might also look at other options through the YMCA for volunteer work.

I have been telling my daughter to do this for years. She doesn't quite believe it is for real, but I have read up on it and gotten the forms to apply. This would be a great summer.
