Happy homecoming. Have you visited in the past sixteen years? There's been a lot of changes.

I get back at least once a year. Was just there in May for three weeks.

In some ways, nothing has really changed. I do notice the increase in traffic, all the construction in Kakaako and Ala Moana, and just that the Island is feeling a bit more crowded.

We'll stay for a few years, but I'm not sure if I will retire in Hawaii. All this time on the Mainland has ruined me. I've gotten used to "elbow room", spacious housing and a lower cost of living..........We'll see. Lei girl has a say in this as well

Oh, we are leaving San Antonio, TX the middle of July and taking the scenic route to Seattle. Should be in the Islands beginning of August.

No. But my wife is AD army. Both of us are from Hawaii....575, if you know what I mean. We met in ROTC at UH many years ago and it was the Army that took us away and is now bringing us back. Full circle, so to speak.

How interesting! My brother who's an officer in the army also met his wife (who's also an officer) in ROTC at UH too.

After living in North Carolina where their house is for many years, and now recently assigned to South Korea to work under a General, they are also thinking of moving back to Hawaii.
