What's with people fighting most of the time in Hawaii? (Waianae: high schools, military)

Because seems some people want to fight for perceived slights like just staring or such,which i feel is just stupid and dumb. People should talk things out and such. Fighting imho is a waste of ones time,there are more productive things to do instead of fighting,like playing video games and such,and this is like the 21st century and people are behaving like cavemen in the year 1000 BC or such. People should behave like a civilized society and be shamed of themselves for fighting. Plus too,i wonder how Jesus would react if he came back and saw people behaving this way. He said to turn the other cheek. People who fight should be ashamed of themselves.
Possibly people being touchy could be a reaction to more overall stress in everyday life and watching nothing but violence on TV doesn't help either.
If it were me, I'd require mediation classes in all elementary and high schools so kids could learn how to interact, but they didn't ask me. Actually, didn't this sort of thing used to be taught as etiquette classes?
I've not seen any personally, but there is some sort of thing with young folks fighting and posting them on YouTube. Search YouTube for Waianae Fights and you'll see what I mean.
Seems like it's a popular sport with some of the younger crowd. And I realize it's not just in Waianae.
I think if you are young and want to fight...don't waste your energy b i t c h slapping your adversaries, ..and then posting your ' encounter' on Facebook along with what you had to eat that evening at some fast food place...
