Thanks for the tip! Looking at these forums helped me steer away from Matson. I've had my car to long to get rust on it during the trip over.

Maybe we're a fluke but we had great experiences with Matson- both shipping to and from the island!

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply. Our 2nd car is on the way. The company picked it up from my mother-in-law's (very convenient) in Florida, put it on a truck to Cali and a ship from there. I'd check around w/ different companies and compare cost. We shipped it for less from Florida, then what we were quoted to ship it from Missouri.
