This not only doesn't ring a bell, it doesn't come up with any results on GoogleLocal. Any thought about whether that's the "real" name, or perhaps give us an address and we can tell you about the neighborhood? I was just there; I have NO IDEA.

Just a thought.

I think the hotel you are talking about is the Waikiki Gateway Hotel. It's a no frills hotel with very reasonable rates. Almost all of the rooms go for about $70 to less than $100 per night. I haven't spent a night there in many years. All I can say is that it's very simple, so don't expect much. If you're looking to save money on food, some of the rooms have a small kitchenette.
