Going to be doing a small move from Honolulu to Denver this summer. By small I mean no furniture or large electronic appliances.

Got quotes from ABF U-Pack and PODS, and their smallest containers are larger than we need (not to mention a $4000 pricetag). Other movers websites I've visited tend to talk in terms of how many rooms of furniture need to be moved.

Anyone have any recommendations on companies providing smaller moving service, preferably something costing less than $2000?

Island Movers has a lower start rate. I did a small move last year for about $1500 I think.

USPS parcel post is about the least expensive for mailing packages. If it is books or media, then book rate is even more economical although it can't have anything other than books or media in the box. You can mail a lot of boxes for $1,500! There are flat rate boxes for heavy things, too.
