Many nice neighborhoods 20 to 30 minutes outside Gainesville on Clay Electric if you can avoid the core of Gainesville it is great. Newberry and High Springs are nice small towns 20 to 30 minutes away from Gainesville offering a lot of new housing.

North central florida has a lot to offer on a budget. Nice proximity to rivers, springs and the gulf for water recreation and fishing on a budget. If you just want a nice affordable quiet place to raise a family or retire on a budget and escape cold winters, it works fine especially the rural counties surrounding Alachua like Gilchrist, Levy, and Suwannee.

Of course, it is. The college football team is called the Gators and they nicknamed their stadium "The Swamp".

Yea I’m just saying I don’t like Gainesville. It’s just like ocala. I wouldn’t live there.
