I recently went for my Florida Driver's License and succeeded in obtaining it. I drive around a lot by myself, but only in the state of Florida. As a 16 year old, is it legal for me to drive out of state without a licensed driver 21 years or older?

I don't know why it would not be legal. If you clearly have somewhere you need to go and your acting mature and not doing anything wrong. I don't know why a police officer would go out of his way and make a huge deal if your acting responsible and driving to a specific place.

In the DC Area, 16 year old drive everyday through Va, Maryland, Washington, DC. There are other places as well where 16 year olds drive into other states every day.

It does not seem like a big deal.

Police officers would not likely pull a 16 year old driver just thinking they were to young by looking at you. However, if you are pulled over for some other infraction and they run your driver's licensce it could result in additional penalties. You are still bound by the restrictions of your state's driver's licensce no matter what state you happen to be driving in.

May not be a big deal, just be aware.

Instead of asking here, and possibly receiving incorrect information, why not call the DMV and get the right answer the first time? You'd need to fall the DMV in the state in which you want to drive to see if it's legal for you to drive there.
