I feel your pain, I am originally from Texas where there are alot of Jack in the Box. But here in Florida, none.

I even checked the website.
If anyone has pull at the home office, tell them we really are in need !

Well, I'm WAY late on this one.....but there is a Sonic in Athens. We have them everywhere here in Texas. The cool thing is that they are like the old drive-in restaurants......girls on skates deliver your order to your car. And they have these "misters" that keep you cool when you sit at their outdoor tables.

Jack-in-the-Box are usually in southern cities and so are Sonics ... this may be why ...

Personally, I don't care for JITB, but Sonics are awesome.

If you think Cincinnati area is bad, try living in Northwestern Ohio.

Chain restaurants which are popular, that have NO locations in Northwestern Ohio:

-White Castle
-Chick-Fil-A
-Sonic
-Jack-In-Box
-Steak and Shake (there is in Sandusky).

and some of the above, there might be a location or two in toledo, and if you live towards findlay, you're screwed.

There are no JITB in Utah, where I'm at now, either. In Utah, besides the 'norm' ones, we have Del Taco, Carl's Jr, Sonic, Sconecutter, Taco Time, The Taco Maker, Beto's (another Mexican place LOL) , Artic Circle, Fazoli's, Chick-fil-a, that's all I can think of for fast food. You have your typical sit down too. In Akron, I miss that we don't have here in Utah, Arthur Treachers, Swenson's (OMGosh, do I miss them!) , BW3 (I know, more sit down, but I miss wings ) , Barberton chicken (again, sit down, but I still miss it. Can you tell I was raised right by Barberton? LOL) , then, I don't really miss, but they have White Castle & Church's chicken too. Hmmm, it's about lunch time here. Too bad I'm snowed in. LOL

Default jack in the box

i took my kids to jack in the box for spring break. a 6 hour drive but well worth it, lol. we got outside nashville, ate ultimate cheeseburgers and sourdough jacks. we stayed overnight at the motel next to it, and the next morning went to the country music hall of fame. stopped for more burgers and drove home. it is actually an easy, pretty trip. we even brought some home for my fiance and his kids who'd never had it. boy, were they sad they didn't make the trip with us!

Love the tacos at JIB..they are awesome..so are their chocolate cakes. They just opened a Sonic in Perrysburg, Oh a couple of months ago and when I went to order lunch 1) there were no available parking spaces to order and it was over an hour wait..it was packed. I wish there were freestanding Chik fil A's..looooove them and they have the best sweet tea (next to Grandy's in Houston)..if I had the money I would invest in the franchise
