Seriously, I can't believe that one of the most beloved fast food restaurants isn't in Ohio. Will Ohio ever get them, and is there a reason why Ohio has none? Please if you could, answer.

Default Same with Sonic

I have experienced only 1 Sonic, and it was located in Middlesboro, KY..... It only took that one trip for me to decide Ohio really needs a Sonic!!

I love Sonic. We have a few in the Louisville area. They have the best smoothies and tater tots!

It's a franchise isn't it? I think I'd call their headquaters and find out. Then post it here so we could all know. Thanks.

There are two or three Sonics around Cincinnati.

But, I'd rather patronize independent restaurants. The food isn't faster, but it's usually better!

I had the pleasure of eating at Jack in the Box twice and it was soooo goood! I don't understand why we don't have any either. Maybe in time they will start springing up, but they remind me of Wendy's so maybe we have that instead??

Although I've never seen a Jack In The Box around here, I have been to JITB restaurants in other states—generally west of the Mississippi. Good stuff!

As for Sonic, there is at least one here in Ohio that I know of. It's located in Portsmouth. A former g/f and I had lunch there a few yrs. ago while in town for a visit.

It reminds me more of a Wendy's or BK. A little more "upscale" than Rally's—to whatever extent that description applies to fast food
