A woman from Los Angeles, CA who was a tree hugger, a Democrat, and an anti-hunter, purchased a piece of timberland near Colville , WA . There was a large tree on one of the highest points in the tract. She wanted a good view of the natural splendor of her land so she started to climb the big tree. As she neared the top she encountered a spotted owl that attacked her. In her haste to escape, the woman slid down the tree to the ground and got many splinters in her crotch.

In the S W part, we got 4-6" of snow over night. That should be gone (from down here) by tomorrow.
But the 10F wind chills will stay all week.

Here's something to laugh about
:
My truck is still equipped for California...including the(oversized) tires.
It's a 4X4,(5 sp) but a link from the shifter to the transfer case is missing.
I had to go to the store today and got stuck in my driveway. I finally rocked myself out.
On my way back the light turned red at the top of ahill on Main St. I was tempted to keep going, but as a law obiding citizen I stopped.
It turned green, I went to take off and I sit there(uphill) spinning.
I kept pushing in the clutch and rolling backward to catch some traction. Finally!
After 45 mins of this BS, I was pulled to the top and caught some traction.
I think one problem is that I don't have any weight in the bed. I also found that taking off in 2nd helps in loose spots.
I'm not like you guys. I'm not use to driving in snow.
