Well Bjb123 and went camping again this week-end and was hoping to go too Malubar Farms State Park for thier little shin-dig. But as it turns out we had rain the whole time and the camp site we were at was down at the bottom next to the river at a place called Toodik named after a NA Medicine Man. Needless to say we were a little worried that we wouldn't be able to pull that more that 2,700 lbs camper back up the hill. Especially since it wasn't paved, it was a river gravel road (not limestone) and most of it was at a 7 percent grade or more . But my Toyota Tacoma'S V6 with its Locking Rear Differential (Not 4WD) pulled it out like the champ that it is . Oh well, the best part was that we were at the very end of the camp grounds and there was no one for mor that 20 camp sites away, loved the quiet. I tried my hand at a little fishing, but no luck, but then again I am one of those that don't care if I catch one or not.

Congrats on the 33, there ptsum, love hearing stories like that.
Hello all in Ohio. EB, sounds like you and the Mrs. had fun.

Yes, we have weird weather here. It hit 94 today. I just wish the melons would get big enough to eat.

EB, sounds like you had fun. Boy, pulling a camper! Aren't you the "roughing it" kind! Sounds like posh camping! We used to have a tent camper that we took everywhere. That little old coleman had some stories to tell!!!

They sold their home, are gonna travel for a month and then head over to England to live (wife is originally from there). They did their closing on their home today. Sure hate to see them go.

That was a long business trip for you; glad to hear you had a great time. How did you like Pittsburgh? I haven't been there for a long time. BTW how's the weather by you?
Pittsburgh was a lot of fun, but Cleveland was better.

The weather right now is extremely windy. I still see no MaryBeth.

Now I wouldn't call it (Posh), but it is only a 18 footer. Wait a minute?! You've seen the pictures of it on the camping thread haven't you? The only problem I have with it is, the dang shower is to short for me to use . Oh well, we're looking into a pop-up shower for the outside of the camper.

Oh No!

Not even the wild animals want to see this body in the buff . Besides, as hairy as I am they may mistaken me for a displaced grizzly bear and all attack me at the same time, thinking they're protecting their hunting grounds.

Hi Beavercreek, EB, ptsum. BTW Beavercreek I inquired about MaryBeth2 on the forums thread asking if any moderators know anything. The replies I got were basically it was thought she moved where there is no internet connection. That would drive me crazy lol.
