does pink still exist? I was unable to find any kind of city web site or school web site. Did this town die years ago and get swallowed up by another town? Would like information on this area. Had some family that lived there in the early 20th century wouldn't mind site seeing the area on my next visit to oklahoma.

I know nothing about the town, but I have heard it mentioned on the weather, like if a storm is in that area or something. Don't actually know anything about the area.

There is really nothing in Pink. There are a couple of houses on the side of Highway 9 but there is no collection of houses or any kind of retail there. There isn't even a quick store. It's just sort of a rural area that has a lot of people living on acreages around it. Kids in Pink would either attend Little Axe or Macomb school districts.

The area around there is quite pretty as it sits in the crosstimbers and has some of the hilliest sections of the crosstimbers.

The view from the highway looking west from the Country Boy IGA in the Little Axe area is one of the most beautiful views in central Oklahoma. Especially during fall foilage or when the trees are green. Great sunsets fromt hat spot.
