Read the history book "Alternative Oklahoma" and especially the chapter on Sunbelt Alliance and shutting down Black Fox. If the nuke boys try it again, we are still around.

I wish we would get nuclear power plants here. It is very safe and reliable when kept up and virtually every single disaster was due to human error. Even Fukushima was the fault of the backup generators not being properly maintained if I recall right and the plant wasn't built in a good place to begin with.

Look at how much energy our sun produces. I love solar energy and think wind energy has its place, but I firmly believe nuclear is the future.
