Explain diversity and its strengths, so I can better understand the enriching nature of such an ideal.

Default Come to Bartlesville!

I'm glad you agree with me! I did in fact mention the Community Center but I guess you overlooked it! I mentioned the famous OK Mozart Festival held at the Community Center. If you are from Stillwater, OK that is a nice place as well!

The good guys in Oklahoma are the few law enforcers around here. You know those stentorian veteran/jock?

There are a lot of bad and ugly people in the state. I am one of 'em. But I have this moral obligation and respect, sometime. (lately I have become stentorian, but it is a discipline)

Basically, it is a slick town. Don't be fool by miles of churches! It is a facade. Do you know why they need so many church for? You think it is to keep the devil away? panhandling gas & oil corporation? maybe or way to pool up fund for personal investment? could be. Anyway, most of the churches are quite empty so you know the devotion is about average to national count.

There are no privacy in this whole state, regardless of which town you are or will be in. Eyes and ears will be everywhere, watch out for the locals.

It's could be like the USSR, if you don't belong. You could belong if you are in worser shape than most of 'em. Yep!

And "stealing" is a traditional here (one of the last frontier for outlaws). No, not that kind of "shoot in your face" conveniently robbery! (not an exclusion) It could be pilfering to white collar crime to other things. Historically, cattle rustling have extend its way into many other things. That is why one of the reason Texans loved to steal Okie's investments and jobs. (then it could lead to divorce and next thing you know your whole family is somebody else family, hehe) They just wanted Okies to feel the pain.

To support my claim: Divorce and bankruptcy in Oklahoma is also one of the top in the nation, despite having one of the lowest living cost.

But we HAVE THE SOONER!! IT IS OUR!

I think newbs should just remember, this is Oklahoma, it's not TX, AL, or WA. And for the most part, the people in the small towns and rural areas, love it for what it is, and not what it could be or should be.

We accept the lack of amenities in trade for the lack of squalor and noise, pollution, and high density populations that other areas have.

I also believe to some degree some people are happy where ever they land, and others will carry their unhappiness with them where ever they go.

We have a doctor from FL who said she never thought OK was a place for African Americans, and I told her Wewoka is probably the most diverse place, because it is almost 1/3 AA, Native American, and white.

If I had to say the bad, it is I do miss the ocean and the forests like northern PNW or redwoods of coastal California. But personally, I have cultural ties and roots in Oklahoma which make it home for me.
Oh yeah! you mean those socialism places? sharing is caring?

Speaking of which, I need money to buy lottery ticket everyday. It's for school! Can I have a million dollars?
