I get it -- it's just that y'all never meet a stranger!

Catching the early morning news right now. We all got a great night's sleep and we're raring to go. Poor Anna fell asleep around 6:30 last night and she's still sleeping! I hate to say it again, but -- I'm so excited!

Peggy, I'll call you today so we can set up our gathering (hopefully with lots of us) on what I think we decided would be Friday. Have a great day - I know we will.

I'm wishing you and your family a FANTASTIC day in OkC. I hope your husband lands a job this week AND you find that special home you are looking for. Positive thoughts don't hurt do they?

OK it is 1:30 Friday afternoon at Cattlemen's on S. Agnew. Looking forward to seeing everyone. I hadn't read these last posts before I called you Colleen.

We really are not nice in Oklahoma, it is all just an act.

Good talking to you this morning, Peggy. 1:30 at Cattlemen's on Friday it is.

Spent a lot of time today driving around Yukon and Mustang. Loved both towns. We had lunch at Sid's Diner. Good cheeseburgers and fries. We saw the outside of a lot of houses we were interested in, and crossed some off based on things you just couldn't tell from pictures on the internet. Called our realtor with a llist of 7 houses we'll try to see tomorrow or Friday. We're going to check out Norman tonight. My head is spinning. CG, you'll love it here. It's --- I know this will sound wierd, but it's "real." Everyone is down to earth (salt of the earth comes to mind) and friendly. One thing you'll notice is what my husband said -- he said everyone seems happy. That's so rare on the east coast where everyone is stressed. People here seem happy with what they have, they don't seem to have that discontent you see a lot of in the large metro areas on the east coast.

Anyway, needless to say we're enjoying ourselves. Anna was stuck in the hotel room most of the day with a cold. But she's feeling a little better and is looking forward to checking out Norman with us tonight. She's still bugging me to find a place for her to ride. Can anyone tell me where she and I can ride sometime this week? She also wants to see the ice skaters who we saw on TV (the civic center, I believe?) I wish we had a LOT more time than we do.

Talk to y'all later (hearing a lot of that, too!) LOL

Well, it's certainly a well developed act, because everyone I met today seems to be in on it! LOL

Yes, Okies are generally a very happy bunch of people. As far as figure skating, I don't know the figure skating scene in OkC.

Try these for horse riding in OkC Colleen. They offer year round riding.

It sure is hard getting to see every part of the metro area, isn't it colleeng?

Heck, I've lived here all my life and haven't seen many areas ever. Never once been in Choctaw.

Info on the Civic Center GoCityKids Oklahoma City | Oklahoma City Civic Center

I've never eaten at Sids Diner. Did "Elvis" sing to you? On a serious note, do any of you remember the 16 year old Yukon girl who was killed in a horrific manner by the teacher she had been seeing? That was Sids daughter (and my sons friend). She would have turned 17 on December 30. RIP Bailey
