There are few towns in this world that don't have some trashy homes. and no one wants the city to come and tell them what to do. i like that no one goes around telling people that they have to mow their yard for example. i have been in very few small towns where i saw no trash, where everything is perfect. one such place, and i could be wrong is, St. George, Utah. we drove around because we were thinking of moving there. everyone that day was out taking care of their property, but who knows? another small town that was picture perfect was a very small town in northern california. i was looking for a place to live. but i don't see what you see seabeebolt because i don't drive in that area of town. i think there is some of it down our street but i don't recall, mostly see garbage cans and garbage that animals have attacked. then i know that there are trashy areas around the river because people don't keep their yards up, also down the highway going towards arkansas. but i quit looking for the perfect town, and when you find them they have a lot of rules and are expensive to live in. some of my favorite towns are touristy, julian, ca, eureka springs, ark. but then you have tourists all over. i don't like tourist towns except to visit. we get enough tourists here during the cherokee days.

I doubt that bars will ever be a really big thing in college towns until the minimum drinking age drops back to 18. But then the bars might get to be too much of a thing.

LOL. I majored in partyology at both Jr. college and K-State. At one point in time, it was said Manhattan, KS had more bars in one square mile than any other town in the U.S. I can't believe you said that. WOW. That is mind-boggling.

Was "Prohabition" ever lifted in Oklahoma?
During my younger days, I use to enjoy going to the country Bars in SoCal. But they started to disappear out there too.
One was
"The Branding Iron" in SanBernardino, Ca.
There was also
"The High Chaparrell" in Riverside, Ca. I saw "The Oakridge Boys" perform there in the "80"s'.

LOL. I majored in partyology at both Jr. college and K-State. At one point in time, it was said Manhattan, KS had more bars in one square mile than any other town in the U.S. I can't believe you said that. WOW. That is mind-boggling.
