Poulan is just another version of Craftsman with a different color(black) and name. All parts are innerchangable.

Did you get the handle assy, together. Those can be hard because the brake lever has to go inside the drive engagement box,(self propelled)
I didn't put anything together, I took a nap instead.

It's not self propelled, it's a push type. The self propelled were a lot spendier - like 150.00 more. For that, I can walk instead of just guide.

Okay, I went and looked. It's a Yard Man by MTD, 5.5 hp, bag or mulch, 21" cutting deck. I even bought a cute little gas can - why are they still called cans when they are made of plastic now? - to bring home some gas for it. Not even gonna try it until tomoorow, it's still 90 degrees outside in the shade.

She already did! The goat done got 86'd by the gestapo city commissioners. At least that is karibear's story, and she's sticking to it.

Any mower can be changed from standard to mulcher by changing the blade.

MTD is the biggest/most popular mfg of lawn equip, today.
Any mower with 3 blades of grass behind it's name is an MTD., Yard man, Yard Machine, Cub Cadet, White, Bolens, Huskee. (not all have the 3 blades of grass logo.)
Companies MTD have bought out. Montgomery Wards, Cub Cadet, Gilson, Bolens

Bite your tongue! Same lady who took Lola took them, too. Oreo has his very own little harem now, and Miss Nanny has company - other does to distract him instead of being the sole focus of his attentions.

BTW, Micky D's shake machine is still broke down, and Sonic has BOGO coupons on shakes right now.

Becarful what you get. These days the cheap ones are just that...cheap in price and quality. Your lucky if they last 1 season.

If you want a halfway descent one...ask the storeperson what the "Durability Rating" is. Or ask for the one with the highest Durability rating.

All "ECHO" products are good. But some of ECHO's small weedeaters only have a 300 Hour Durability Rating. But that's much higher then any of the cheap quality ones.

The most cheapest ones made today are "Featherlite" by "Weedeater" and any of Weedeater products. It use to be "Ryobi" and "Ryan" I think those 2 merged.
