YouTube - 2009 JGP Budapest Angela Maxwell FS

I got a call from him today and we talked about a lot of things.....not C-D, but other things. He obtained a position that suits his job history, Angela will be going to Japan to compete there and will get to meet her grandmother for the first time. If you have been keeping his situation in your thoughts and prayers hang in there. He is hopeful the new position turns into a long term one.....

I remember the first time I saw video of her doing the routine where she does a back flip... I almost cried. I was so proud for ahem! you know who. I know he is truly proud too.

Good job there, GP. Thanks for keeping us updated.

See? I told everybody you weren't a really a curmudgeon! Juist on the outside and maybe a little on the inside,... and some on the backside!

And you have more patience and tolerance than I do. That video is way cool.

OMG, that is absolutely wonderful. Thank you for sharing that with us, GP. Unfortunately, I lost contact with him. We'd exchanged a few emails while he was going through a rough time. He seemed to stop replying to me, my computer went insane, and we lost contact.

Several years ago, he shared a video with me and I saw her skate for the first time. She is one fabulous athlete and they can be very proud of her.

It's good to hear that the prayers have helped and he's having good fortune in his life.

So nice to see something pleasant and positive. I have an old video of her as well. I'm sure she'll make the Olympics.

As others have said, I'm glad you're staying in touch. We all miss him and wish him well. Hopefully the new job will help stabilize him.

Thanks for posting that.

Nice to know someone has talked to him. I've wondered where he's been; he sent me a PM some months ago with a video similar to this but from US Nationals. He is so proud of her.

I hope his situation improves; sounds like it already has.

He emailed me about this awhile back. The funny thing about it is, it was sent to a third email address of mine that I never use.
I don't remember giving that email out.
