My husband and I are considering very strongly to moving to the Omaha/Papillion area. And to be honest I am very nervous. And just wanted some advice. My husband is from the area ( he is from Louisville) and we visited in March of this year and I LOVED it. We have a little girl that will be 4 in a few months and we want something a little calmer..The Augusta area has gotten pretty violent and alot of racial tension and want to get away from it all. We are pretty much going to go up there without a job or a place to stay. We have enough saved up to where we could survive for a couple of months. Hopefully spend a week in a hotel and find a house/apartment by then. We are planning to apply online for jobs a couple of weeks before we move but not sure how that will work out. I am a florist and he works manufacturing and has experience with landscaping also. Does there seem to be a fair amount of jobs in those fields? Could anyone recommend a daycare in the Papillion/Millard area? If anyone could give me any advice I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Rachel

Have you looked at the small towns outside Augusta? They have to be calmer. If you've decided on Omaha, before you move, you should send your husband on a reconnaissance mission to get a job, sign an rental lease, and get daycare set up. It's a huge risk to move your whole family without any of those things in place.
