Idea: Instead of spending so much energy complaining about how terrible you think North Omaha is, you use that energy to help improve the community. Complaining like this and doing nothing is part of the problem.

Pluses & minuses to everywhere.

I was stationed at Offutt AFB 1979-1981; gotta admit Omaha wasn't on my dreamsheet but joined Fontenelle Forest, saw Clapton and Fleetwood Mac downtown, Canigilia's, Spaghetti Works, the beach in Council Bluffs as well as a down home family picnic with buddy from there, rode motorcycles to Lincoln to check out the college girls and hit dancing bar outside town, joined Aero Club and received pilot's license, etc.

Plus all the partying

There's things to do anywhere.

Happy's obsession with me is growing concerning. Yes, I've beaten the poor chap like a rented mule, but I'm seriously starting to wonder if he goes to sleep staring at the picture of me he's got taped to his ceiling.

I'm honestly very tired of Happygolucky's threads constantly at the top of the page because you and a couple others just can't let him talk to himself. I've devoted myself to simply not replying to trolls, and if everybody did the same, their posts and topics would drop to the bottom of the page. You're just playing to his game and to me anybody who gives a trolls post enough merit to be replied to is just as much a part of the problem as the troll. We have enough good conversation going in this forum to not pay these trolls a second of our time.

He desires credibility more than anything (regardless what he says) and someone has to crush that little dream for him.

He only shows up in spurts though. He'll be gone soon.

Well, actually Happy relentlessly bumps threads with his troll posts - so they end up at the top of the page anyway.

What'd help most is if there was a moderator who gave a crap, and actually did something about it. But this forum obviously doesn't have that.

I'm just saying that for every post he makes, he gets two or three in return, and that certainly doesn't help.
