We are a gay couple in our mid to late 30s with two boys (2 years old and 3 months old). We are currently living in Pacific Palisades and we are considering moving to Laguna Beach. We were just wondering if anyone can tell us if Laguna is friendly to gay parents. We've always loved Laguna Beach and its quaint, artistic vibe. We are very casual, love the beach, good restaurants and quiet neighborhoods. One of our biggest concerns is that we want our kids to grow up and go to school in a place where they aren't discriminated against for having two gay dads. We also like a place where we can go, as a family, to restaurants and beaches and to the movies, without feeling uncomfortable.
We currently hang out around Pacific Palisades and Santa Monica. Is Laguna similar to these two?
