Hi,
I'm looking at houses in Lake Forest. One house has 2 HOAs. One is for the specific subdivision, but what is the other for? I gather that it is for the city of Lake Forest? It is $150 quarterly, which is not a big deal, but I was wondering what you are getting for that money? I know places like RSM or Woodbridge in Irvine have lakes and lagoons, but does Lake Forest offer any similar amenities to its residents? Google is only showing me a few parks and hiking trails.

This house is not near the two lakes so I don't think it can be those either.

It's most likely to cover the public parks/areas.

Some master planned communities have two association dues, one for the tract and another for the community. For example, Carriage Hill has an HOA for the Carriage Hill subdivision plus an additional quarterly fee for the Serrano Heights Master Association.

Thank you. Yes, it looks like it is part of Serrano Highlands and there is a pool and tennis courts near by.

I live in Lake Forest and the city doesn't collect additional fees for amenities just like RSM. you probably looked at the Lake Forest Community houses. it is for the Lake. you can not forgo this Lake Fee. part of the amenities of this community
