If you're hot nobody cares what you drive. Especially if you're hot and not a snob.

As far as cars I don't care what people drive. I've had applicants pull up in 120k MB, 70kCorvettes or 15k Hyundai whatever. As long as it's clean and it doesn't look like it's a extra from a Mad Max movie it doesn't matter what you drive. At least I don't put much meaning in it. Hell I drive a 18 year old truck. Looks immaculate
I've had applicants with luxury cars and 550 credit scores.
Well, I didn't ask, but I did calculate some of the numbers in my head (while I was driving home in my modest 2015 GMC Sierra), if the guy paid $80,000 out the door, and stretched it to 72 months, and lived in a studio apartment... I could see a single guy with full-time employment pulling it off. They'd be spending most of their money on rent + car payment, but it's possible.

Before I retired I was working at Verizon Communications in Irvine off sand canyon. I drove an old pickup truck that was without question the crapiest car in the parking lot.

I finally bought a four year old Lexus E330, and guess what? I still had the crapiest car in the parking lot

And this is why we are fiscally solvent.....3 cars in the family, all paid for, all Toyotas. We don't care what people think of us.....

If you prefer showy, fake, and broke, we are definitely not your people.

4 cars all paid for and the newest is 11 years old. Oh, I can pay cash for any car I want, but why bother?

What you drive does not make you special. The car may be, but you are not.

I pay cash for my cars too and don't take a purchase lightly. However, in case there is any confusion, I am not an ex-trophy wife.

Paying cash doesn't tell me anything about being able to meet your monthly obligations.
