I am moving from upstate New York to Orange County. We have two dogs that we liked taking to Lake Ontario for a swim. Are there any beaches in Orange County specifically for dogs, or are dogs allowed on any beaches? Unleashed would be best, but I'll take what I can get. Thanks!

Huntington Beach North Side has a Dog Beach where they can run off leash.

Huntington Dog Beach - Visit Huntington Dog Beach in CA

Many Beaches allow dogs after 5pm with a leash though.

Be careful at Dog beach. Some people bring mean dogs there. OUr mastiff was attacked several times and then the peolple got mad when she took down the attacking dog (just pinned it to the ground, did nto hurt it much). they seemed to think that since our dog s big, she is in the wrong even if their dog came up and attacked her.

There are also some restaurants that have dog menus and designated areas for them to sit and eat. Im moving here and that was something that I really liked. Alices breakfast in the park, and Park bench cafe are some Ive found.
