Are there any Asian type grocery stores near Aliso Viejo? I don't want to drive to Westminster all the time for stuff I can only get at an asian store.

I don't think there are any in Aliso Viejo, but you should be able to find plenty of Asian grocery stores in Irvine (abotu 20 minutes away) from large ones like 99 Ranch Market to smaller family owned markets.

Unfortunately, the 99 Ranch Market in Irvine are dropping products that they deem not needed by the population. If you compare the selection from an Irvine 99 Ranch market to a Alhambra 99 Ranch Market, you'll see what I mean. So if you need really niche products, try a smaller family store OR the new H-Mart that just opened on Jamboree/Alton.

How about Mitsuwa in Costa Mesa? Mostly Japanese, but lots of fresh fish, meat, veggies and there's a food court there as well.

There's a Korean grocery on Red Hill in Tustin.
