Which park would you choose?

Disneyland (family park)

~or~

Knotts Berry Farm (Roller Coaster Park)

?

And why?

Depends on what you want to do. For us it is Disney, not sure what would work for your family.

Why would you choose Disneyland? Are you an Annual Passholder (best way to go), or is it the memories, or even the rides that everyone can enjoy?

Are the lines at Knotts significantly less than at Disney? Every time we've visited Disneyland, the lines are so bad it sort of ruins the experience. And this includes a trip mid week last October when schools are in session. And we used Fastpass and Ridemax, still 30-40 minute waits minimum for the the "E Ticket" rides.

Charles, I believe you went during gay week. Its a week to honor who is gay and who supports. Not only that but you meet others who are having the same problems... So I am sincerly sorry for your busy time.

No, we went sometime Oct 5-9, 2009, during Huntsville City Schools Fall Break; Gay Days was Oct 2-4.2009.

Gay Days Disneyland: October 2-4, 2009

Well,
that explains that I didnt go...lol

But I believe some of the gays (including me) were at the park for about 1 week. Normally when big events like this occur, Disneyland has them stay there for about 1 week (most buy annual passports!)

If I could choose one, for old time sake it would have to be Knotts Berry but both are great places and both attractive to families. Why not break your bank and do both??

Disneyland is always too crowded and the food is terrible and way overpriced.
Knotts has much better lines and the food is not repulsive and only slightly overpriced.
