I grew up in Anaheim (near Disneyland), then moved to Mission Viejo when I got married, and now I've been seriously considering moving to Anaheim Hills.

Haven't never lived in Anaheim Hills, does anyone have experience with that area? I know its not its own city, and its technically part of Anaheim but it looks quite different, and the demographics seem more similar with Mission Viejo.

One of the reasons I want to move to north county is to be closer to my parents, and relatives who still live in Anaheim and also West LA.

anaheim hills is a very nice area, but most likely you'd be stuck using the 91 almost everyday, which is absolutely terrible. AH is also very expensive, but if you can afford i think it would be a great place to live assuming you don't work too far away. my parents had friends that lived there and we would visit when i was younger, it's very nice. i've also spent time at canyon high and had a dentist and optometrist there while i was in college and overall i really liked the area.

Just moved up here recently from South O.C. and I am loving it. There is a good mix of older unique custom homes as well as newer tract homes (which is pretty unique in a master planned community). The 91 FWY is not too bad past the 91/55 split, which you can bypass pretty easily using side streets. It takes me now less time to get to work (Newport Beach) than when I lived in Laguna (toll road)

When looking for a house I would stay south of Santa Ana Canyon Rd.

Great thing about Anaheim Hills is you get all the big city services (i.e. City owned utilities, pot holes & street lights fixed promptly) but also large lots and space that is not usually associated with Anaheim. There is plenty of parks, hiking trails etc.
