The sun sets about 10 minutes later ... true, but it also rises about 10 minutes later. It's a matter of longitude.

Sometimes the Willamette Valley is covered with fog or clouds while the coast is not ... yeah. The Coast Range is a barrier that can work either way.

The Oregon coast is beautiful. I wouldn't choose to live there, but I loved having it nearby for when I wanted to visit.
