We have been getting a little rain (not very much). Partial sunshine in the afternoon, light dusting of snow at night the last 2 evenings, melts in the morning.

According to the standard definition of insanity, it would be insane only if you expect different results.

Get ready for a week of rain.

But... it's Spring rain, not Winter rain, so I guess we'll be all right.

I think your problem might be that you would have SAD for a longer period of time. Unlike the cold, dry, sunny wintery days you sometimes get back East, winter days in Portland tend to be overcast day after day with no sun at all. You won't get that respite of sunshine here like you do there.

But light boxes and vitamin D could possibly help combat SAD.

The weather man just predicted 36 continuous hours of no rain, starting at noon today. It's raining right now, but is supposed to stop.

You are right, two more decent days...then Wednesday through Tuesday rain, rain, rain.
In Portland, anyways.

April showers bring May flowers!

Nah, imo it's overrated. Even in the winter, you have sunny days.
