I guess at this point of the year I should stop planning hiking/backpacking trips up in the Cascades and start praying for snow. Although early winters in the Cascades seem to tend to turn into fairly dry Januarys and Februarys for some reason...

Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing! We camped close to the North Fork John Day Wilderness last week-end (Olive Lake), and the huckleberries were starting to change colors, as well as pockets of Aspen here and there! The larch are all still green though, but not for long....

Send some of that up here to NE corner please! We could use some precip!
