I was wondering if there are any places that does clinical studies in Oregon. Here in Buffalo, NY we have a place called the BCRC, the Buffalo Clinical Research Center. what happens is, is that you go into a "screening" which they see if you are healthy enough to do a study. If you are they explain what the study is all about, what drug you will be testing, side effects, pay and so on. So basically you are alab rat, guinny pig, etc and get paid a decent amount of money for your time. I don't do ones that are too hazerdous like I did a bladder control pill, they wanted to test to see if it raises your blood pressure.

Now what i'm asking which alot of people i'm sure think i'm insane, but are there any of these research centers in Oregon?

I see ads in the paper all the time for this or that study which needs certain parameter volunteers. OHSU is a teaching hospital/medical schoool as well as a big research center, and I'd presume a lot of these are associated projects.

You can go to ClinicalTrials.gov - Information on Clinical Trials and Human Research Studies the government site and you might find others - it's a place to start.
