Is Corvallis a super flat place or does it have lots of hills or lots of mountains? I'm from a city that is in a valley surrounded by mountains and lots of trees.. Is Corvallis anything like that? I heard there was mountain biking in Corvallis so there must be some type of hill/mountain but how far away is that?

Corvallis itself is pretty flat, but there Mary's Peak nearby and there are some hills on the edge of town. Bald Hill if pretty popular place to to take a walk. Corvallis is in a valley but near Mountains.

Mountain biking typically refers to McDonald forest on the NW edge of town. It's about a ten minute or so bike ride along Harrison to get there.

There are a few hills in town, in the NW section. Other than that it's pretty much flat.
