I live in the Eugene area and haven't received ballot yet. Over a month ago I went to the election office downtown to make sure I would receive it at the new address. Yes I even did a change of address at the post office a while back. The election office said everything was ok and I would be receiving it. Everyone else I live with received theirs days or a week ago. Has anyone else had this problem? For crying out loud last time I voted in Josephene county to help Sherriff Gill (a county on the verge of shutting down...even closed the library) and had no problems. This is really boiling my blood.

Is the only way to vote by mail? So Oregon is the only state that only lets citizens vote by mail? If you don't receive it in mail then you can't vote? Really?

Have you tried to call the election office directly to see what is going on? Or to find out what options exist for alternate ways to vote? I'm pretty sure you can go down to the election office and vote there.

You just need to go down to the Elections office and request a replacement ballot. They realize when people move that things sometimes don't get where they need to go and they have a process for it.

You can also go to the County seat and vote in person on the spot, just like any other state.

Thanks. I will today of course. Thing is, I began the process of making sure two months ago and the elections office said I was good to go. They confirmed I was ready even before I had attempted to make sure. This isn't the first time I've had trouble with mail at this address so it may not be their fault. Ill find out today. Thanks again.

It seems like the Post Office has issues for a couple of months after moving. When I moved into my house that seemed to be the case, even now I still have issues with them even checking for outgoing mail.
