No problems with paying cash here along the Coast when I buy gas. No problems at all. Speedy, friendly attendants.

I really like it when I don't have to get out of my truck when its freezing or raining to pump my own gas. If you folks don't like having your gas pumped for you and your windshield cleaned too, go back to the state you came from, thanks.

I haven't paid cash for gas since, probably, 2005. So much faster/easier to pay with credit or debit card.
But, its like 10 cents off per gallon, cash price- yes I am one of those people, who drive around looking for the cheapest gas....

You give them the money and they bring you the change.

I'm not.

I figure that if I have to fill up my tank (15 gallons) and one station is crowded because it's 4 cents cheaper than the uncrowded one across the street, the extra 60 cents I spend is worth my time and sanity.

No waiting, no crowds, no exasperated attendants, no low budget crappy gas, and chances are I'll get my windshield washed.

Plus at ten cents off per gallon that's only a buck fifty.
Big whoop. That's just a little over half a gallon of gas.

If saving a buck fifty is really that important, there are smarter ways to go about it than driving around looking for the cheapest station. Gasbuddy.com

I'd rather pay more and avoid lines myself.

I would love to have my gas pumped for me! What's not to like about being waited on?

I hate getting charged extra for paying with a card. The station I usually fill up at, has one price for gas. My recept always shows the same price, as is on the sign. The cash price at nearby stations varies from 3 to 6 cents less then I pay, but they also carry a lower grade of gas. So I don't play that game.

Its Oregon!

Not too hard to find an uncrowded gas station (we have irregular hours) and actually my comment about driving around was a bit tongue in cheek- the cheap gas stations are in our radar, and also, we have a Costco membership(Ok there are huge lines there)...

I LOVE not having to get out of my car for gas!

(maybe another thread topic, but my SO also talks about "higher grades of gas" but I am not convinced it makes a difference for my little Honda)...
