SE Eugene here, self professed "whiner". Absence due to computer drama. Did you know when the power goes out from running too many heaters, there's a certain "voodoo" to resetting the wireless modem in tandem with another?

It was in the teens up until yesterday when the weather leveled out to about 30 degrees in our neck of the Oregon woods. Last night: icy. Today: raining. The inside temp in the upstairs has risen to a morning temp of 45 - I won't whine today hahaha - 45 is my new "warm". Humidity is up into the 90's. I thank the rain gods for overruling snow.

Yesterday afternoon, my daughter called me from her coffee stand job about a mile +1/2 away & recommended parking my car down our hill because of freezing rain. We didn't want to drive to pick her up - it was hard enough for my bf to get safely home from work - we were going to walk to accompany her home in the freezing dark.

She got a ride home from someone & brought home some emergency groceries "just in case" the roads iced up more... Her ride couldn't make it up the short steep road to our house because of the ice making him backslide, even though there was sand put down already.

Right now, about noon: It's suppposed to be about 35 degrees outside & the "pressure" is falling. I hope it keeps raining. No snow, please!

Very windy, very chilly here in southeast, near Mt. Scott - the one thing that saves us fro the Gorge winds.
32 degrees and falling.
I-84 is already shut down because of ice. (But who believes that until they've lived through it ~)

SE Eugene here. Yesterday there was a high fog ceiling that slowly lowered itself to the street by nightfall.

Today: It's warmer! Around ~39 outside & 50 degrees in our upstairs in the afternoon. It got up to 55 degrees upstairs last night. Awesome.

Humidity is very high - almost 100%. That means a wet sinuses. No ice on the roads here. Blue ceiling with big gray clouds scudding through the valley sky. No blue skies like this (usually) where I come from - not since the '70's! I love the blue! No wind. UV index is ONE.

The low MAY get down to 31 degrees, so maybe we'll get some ice.
