Hello!

My husband and I recently bought a house to be built near Avalon Park, in Bella Vida. It's near Timber Springs. We are about a mile from the Avalon Park downtown area.

I've read through some threads on here on the area and read mixed reviews as far as crime, what people are like, etc.

What I'm really interested to know is what pools, if any, would I be able to access? Are all the pools in Avalon Park itself gaurded or have like a key card to get in? Can you pay to be able to use one of their pools if you live nearby?

Also, on the Avalon Park web-site it talks about all the bike trails and paths in nature... but I can't find anywhere where they actually are! I'd like to go there this weekend to check it out but not sure where to start!

ANY feedback on the area would be great! Thanks in advance!!!!

Despite what some people have claimed on here, crime is not bad in that area. Some people expect it to be like a small town where there is zero crime and everyone knows eachother, but thats not the case. It is a very busy and populous area so you may hear about minor crimes, which are common in any busy area. Just have common sense and lock your cars and home and you should be fine.

Avalon Park has several trials, most are along the streets across from homes and in open green spaces, but some do venture away from homes and go into the forest or around a lake like this one here: Google Maps

I'm not sure which pools you would have acess to. I'm surprised Bella Vida doesn't have its own community pool.

Been around that lake a few times. I know there is a gator or two in there. One of them always hangs out behind that one house there with the pool!
