Hi--Coming down in 4 weeks and need advice on where to board our dog near WDW---we can't keep him in our hotel.
Does anyone have any advice? We'll be driving, so able to get around easily.
Thanks

There is a great kennel in Kissimmee called the Bass Pet Motel
100 S Bass Rd, Kissimmee - (407) 396-6031. My sister worked there in High School and it is a great facility and is run by lovely people. It is right off of 192 and not to far from WDW. Hope this helps - have fun!

I know WDW and universal have kennels. Give Disney or Universal guest services a call and ask about their kennel services.

Disney does have kennels, BUT they will not walk your dogs and the dogs are not connected to outside runs. So you have to go 2 or 3 times a day (or more) to "potty" your dog. This would really take a big bite out of the day---the kennels are somewhere outside of each park, except for the Fort Wilderness one.

Try "A Pet's Palace" near the Orlando Airport on S. Orange Blossom Trail. A friend of mine takes her to rescue dogs there for doggie day camp and can't say enough good things about it and the dog's come out "happy"...Their # is 407-857-0705. They charge 15 per day for doggie camp or you can board them overnight for as long as you like. Good luck and have a great trip!

When we had dogs we used Miss Emily's Bed and Biscuit and the care was awesome. It is located on E Hwy 50 close to 436 coming out of the airport. Not at all close to the theme parks but your pets would be fine there throughout your stay. I know most of the quality places we have used require documentation in advance so keep that in mind and also the quality kennels here book up quickly especially if you are coming at time when residences are leaving town.

Default Pet Boarding

You can try the V.I.Pet Resort. Their staff is very caring and the facilities are kept imppecably clean. They have two locations one in Kissimmee and one in Orlando. Their website is www.vipet.net
