Hello, I am from Puerto Rico and I used to live in Florida about 10 years ago and worked in wdw. I used to live in Aurora Cagan Crossings (then it was called South Lake apartments). By that time there was only one apartment complex with a win dixie, a bank and a post office across the highway from the apt and a gasoline station with an arbys, and the nearest walmart was about 10 to 15 min (for me it was longer since there was nothing but orange trees either side of the road). It was a really peaceful place (too peaceful sometimes) but i like that. Everyone that lived there where either senior citizens or workers for the amusement parks and kept to themselves. And the best thing about it is there were no tourist in that area (which was something good after clockin out from work in wdw) Last year I went on vacation and decided to pass by for old times sake and I was amazed at what i saw! It is completely different than when i used to live there. There are now 3 more apartment complex, a town center and a public librery. And a Walmart in front! Since last year I want to move out of Puerto Rico with my husband when i get my degree in Graphic arts (Things are not to good here) I know the apartments are a little more expencive then what i used to pay. I really want to know is it still peaceful, is it more entertaining with the town center, is the situation in general better or worst? Any comments are welcome and helpful!!

Good luck finding a graphic arts job in this area. I have friends who have years of experience and a good local job seeking network who have been out of work for months on end.
