"Respondents were asked to rate their choice of 35 cities..."

The T&L Editors provided a specific list of 35 cities to rate. Plus it was an online poll which I would take with a big grain of salt.

IDK, Providence @ #3 and NYC @ #4 in food...

I just went to Moon Fish on Sand Lake road. I thought it was really good.

My point exactly, although I would have to say that lately I'm had MUCH better moderately (key word) priced food in Providence than NYC.

The other problem with the methodology is the same as using Trip Advisor as your way of determining the best restaurants in an area, you get a lot of people who must never eat out because they consider places like Red Lobster a top place to eat.

yeah they are good. a bit pricey. Their happy hour specials are a bit nicer on the wallet.
