You know, le Cordon Bleu has schools all over the country, not just Orlando. Maybe even one in Seattle. Plus, there are other great culinary programs that don't cost quite as much. You must be desiring to move here for other reasons then.....

The COL in Orlando is very affordable compared to most major cities thats for sure

You rent will be determined by the old Real Estate saying "Location Location Location!"

Chopchop0 is right, a 3 bedroom home in the Dr Phillips (SW suburb) would START around $1400 a month, and that would be for an older early-mid 1980s built home

The east side of Orlando around Waterford Lakes/UCF, Avalon Park, and the south side around Hunter's Creek, Southchase and Meadow Woods homes rent anywhere from $800-$1600 a month for a good 3 bedroom, but like I said location location location

I kidd you not, the newer 2-3 BR condos off sand lake rd on big/little sand lake are listed for $2200+ a month.

That's ridiculous for Orlando ... I wouldn't pay that much to live on Park Ave in WP. There are rentals to be had in DP for $1400+ ... it's all about timing.

No need to see - I own some of them, but they're rented. All about timing like I said ...

Yeah, if I had capital, I would have been all over DP buying up properties in the $200-300K range in 2009/10. The appreciation in rents the last couple of years would have made it worth it

Post a link to prove it or go troll somewhere else

Seriously.... 90% of Orlando's population is homeless? Sometimes you just have to call a spade a spade.
