In the Maitland office park area there is traffic light that baffles me. There are 4 lanes, lanes 1 and 2 are left turn only. Lane 3 you can go straight to the Sheraton Hotel or you can go right. Lane 4 is a right turn only. I am in lane 2 (lane 1 and lane 2 lights are red) waiting to turn left and this is what the lights do. The light for lane 1 stays red. The light for lane 2 changes to a green arrow pointing left. The lights for lanes 3 and 4 are irrelevant. I am thinking that this is a broken light because when the leftmost light is red and the one to the right of it is a green arrow, everyone in both lanes 1 and 2 are making a left turn. There is another intersection in that same area where the lane configuration is the same way and the lights do the same thing!!! Is this for real or are they both broken? If it's for real are both lanes 1 and 2 allowed to proceed left, or does lane 1 have to be stopped and lane 2 can turn?
