Hi everyone!...Kinda new to the Horizon West area but was just curious as to where single 30's-40's people hangout in the Winter Garden/Windermere area? I usually go to Altamonte-Heathrow areas with friends. However, there are times when I wouldn't mind hanging out somewhere closer to home. I know there is going to be a new shopping center near the 429 soon...so hopefully, there will be some cool places to check out there!

Most of the single folks I know in the area are also Disney fans, so they go to the various Dizmeet events:
DizMeet (Orlando, FL) - Meetup

Aside from that, a lot of folks have been spending way too much time at Trader Sam's and at the new Plant Street Market. It really depends what you like to do and what type of people you're looking to meet.

Downtown Winter Garden absolutely. I would say you're likely to meet some ambitious singles out that way if you get a decent bike and find a group ride going up the West Orange Trail.

You could also check out Dr. Phillips. Restaurant Row has a ton of bars in the restaurants.

Thanks for the responses so far...I see that Downtown Winter Garden has a grand opening this Saturday but unfortunately I have to work that day. Oh and for the person who wanted to know whether I'm male/female....I'm female...lol.

Most places I've been to have a mix of younger and older, but here's a few that regularly have a good number of singles my (mid 30s) age
Pilars Martini Bar (downtown Winter Garden)
Crooked Can Brewery (downtown Winter Garden)
The bar at the Edgewater Hotel (downtown Winter Garden)
Hagan O'Reilly's Irish Pub (Stoneybrooke area)

If you're into things like cycling or running, Winter Garden Wheel Works has group rides and Tri N Run (both downtown Winter Garden) has group runs that attract active and younger people.

Just searched Pilars Martini Bar... looks like a cool place to hangout....will have to check it out one of these days. I've been to Hagan O'Reilly's Irish pub twice when it was not busy just to grab something quick to eat. Any other suggestions are more than welcomed. Thanks guys/gals!
