I agree that Orlando has a lot of great coffee shops, especially for a city its size.

What are your favorites?

Mine so far are...

Lineage Coffee
Craft & Common
Downtown CREDO

That said, I'm downtown, so I'll have to check out CREDO. Never heard of.

I was trying to decide whether to add that to my top favorites or not haha. I love the decor at Foxtail. It’s certainly better quality than Starbucks.

What part of the design like the decor, menu? My favorite one is the Winter Park location. If you have any pull, can you please convince them to open one around Dr. Phillips?! We really need a good coffee shop. Holy Grain is just okay. Downtown Windermere has a great one but the hours are so short as it’s just a mom and pop operators. I bet there would be a market for a Foxtail here.

I love Credo, Drunken Monkey, Achilles, and Holy Grain.. those are probably my top spots. I recently went to Craft and Common and it was great. I need to try Foxtail again; it just seemed expensive for what it was. I’m excited to try the new places I haven’t been yet; several new shops have opened in the past few months. I am SO happy Orlando’s coffee culture is growing.

I agree with bmw that DP needs an indie coffee shop, especially in the Marketplace or Plaza Venezia. It’s so strange that there isn’t one yet, but maybe nobody wants to challenge Starbucks.

Foxtail is good. I've bought beans from Lineage before but I haven't purchased a drink there. Does Zaza Cuban Diner count?

As far as Dr. Phillips, isn't Publix rolling out Kahwa coffee in its stores that sell hot coffee? I know it's not Orlando based as it is from St. Pete, but it's something different than Starbucks.

Check out Deeply Coffee in Downtown (bottom of Aspire). It’s legit. Went to Credo once and loved it!

Deeply Coffee looks so nice! I love the clean minimalism. I’ll definitely check it out, thanks.
