Did anyone else hear that now they are supposed to be lowering the rates? I know they were supposed to go up 25% as of January. It showed in my electric bill too.

Mine too...mine went up $12.00 and I was under 1000 kilowatts so it should have been cheaper than it was. I heard Progress now wants to decrease the rates 12% after everyone complained!

I thought they raised the rates by 25%, that hurt. I did hear they were going to lower them again by 11 or 12 %. I'll take it if they are really going to do it. I was rather astonished they were allowed to raise them THAT much in the beginning at a time when people are already struggling.

Politics I guess and the new rates really hurt some people. I'm on the budget plan and mine still jumped.

I was on the budget plan and when I decided to get off of it, it took me at least half a dozen requests to get someone to finally remove me.

It was in the winter and I was barely making it through paying the bills. I took it off and my bill went down. I also had an AC unit that was on the way to being broken so it was eating up the power and then stopped altogether, what a nightmare.

I noticed that, I was gone 10 days in December but it didn't show any difference in my power used. How can that be??
