~My husband's job is relocating us there and these have made it to our "short list" .. but I would like to know more insider information please..
(I have checked out apartmentratings. com and most have mixed reviews.. i have found nothing on sabal park apartments in longwood.. (lots of bad reviews on the one in Tampa though)
I have included the zipcodes, but already have looked at seminole county crime maps and searched out all the schools.. (one is b rated, the rest are a))

So any, and all information would be great... Also how bad are the snakes in florida? I have a very active, not afraid 7 year old.. need to know what to foreware him about.. thank you for you help!!

Those are all nice areas. Haven't heard or know anything specific about any of those apartments. In general though, most apartments experiences have more to do with the management companies than anything else so it may be helpful to look up reviews on the management companies.

Sabal Park and Golf Brook both are a great location.

When I lived in Sabal Point area in Summit Ridge Apts. (sold as condos during the big sale off period) what I liked was the family feel, around 6 o'clock daily Sabal Palm Drive comes alive with families walking, runners and bike riders. I ride a GT LST mountain bike and my daily ride around Sabal Point would be 5 to 10 loops.

Just sold a home in Sabal Point to a nice couple who are school teachers, the husband also helps to compile and break down the data used to determine a schools ratings down to the classroom, they moved to Sabal for the schools and neighborhood. Sabal Point Elementary has some of the best statics so they decided that while prices and interest rates favor first time buyers it was time to sell their home and buy.

I haven't lived in any of the mentioned apartments but I have lived in Central Florida my whole life and I can tell you about the areas of each and the schools (elementary) in each area.

The part of Longwood that Sabal Park and Golf Brook is located is very nice and very well maintained. Sabal Point Elementary School has a great reputation.

Definitely stay away from Regency Oaks in Fern Park. Fern Park has overall gone downhill in the last 20 years and I'm pretty sure the Elementary school in that area is not one of the best.

Pretty much anywhere in Oviedo is great! Oviedo is a great family-oriented city.

Winter Springs is also a really great family-oriented city. But, there is a portion of Winter Springs that is a little run-down and Seville on the Green and The Park at Laurel Oaks is on the not as nice end of S.R. 434. It's not horrible but there are much better areas of Winter Springs. Anything off of Red Bug Road or in Tuskawilla would be a much better choice.

I'm really not too familiar with the Reserve at Beachline other than the area is close to the tourist area and also that Orange County Schools are not as good as Seminole County Schools.

The Archstone in Altamonte Springs is right across from the Altamonte Springs mall. Altamonte Springs has some nice areas and some not-so-nice areas. One thing to note about Altamonte Springs is that the traffic in that area is so congested!

Overall, if family and schools is of your top priority, I would suggest moving to Oviedo or Winter Springs.
